Important notice: All calculations in BenchTool are provided as guidance values only. They do not replace professional advice or your own expert verification. Use is entirely at your own risk.

1. Scope

These Terms of Use apply to the use of the BenchTool web application (“App”), operated by Philipp Spengler – Goldschmied (“Provider”). By purchasing access and using the App you agree to these terms.

2. Description of Service

BenchTool is a digital toolkit for goldsmiths and jewellery makers. The App provides calculation modules, reference tables and planning tools for workshop use. It is delivered as a Progressive Web App (PWA) and can be used offline after the initial installation.

3. Access and Licence

Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable right to use the App. Access is tied to your account. Passing access on to third parties is not permitted. Depending on the plan chosen:

All calculation results, table values and reference data displayed in BenchTool are indicative values only, provided without warranty of completeness, accuracy or currency.

Every calculation result must be verified by the user with professional judgement before application. The App does not replace training or professional expertise.

5. Availability

The Provider strives for high availability of the App but does not guarantee it. Maintenance, technical faults or changes may temporarily restrict access. No right to continuous availability exists.

6. Changes

The Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use and the features and content of the App at any time. Registered users will be notified of material changes by e-mail. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

7. Right of Withdrawal

As this is a digital product delivered immediately upon purchase, the right of withdrawal lapses upon commencement of use where you have expressly agreed that performance begins before the withdrawal period expires.

8. Governing Law

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Place of performance and jurisdiction is the Provider’s registered location, to the extent permitted by law.
